TREE PATROL - SPRING 2008
MAY 2008 In the month May the Tree patrol was fairly successful. We had one patrol meeting and planned another service project in order to achieve the National Honor Patrol Award. Our top choice for our next service project will be maybe working with Mr. Howmann to benefit Troop 787. Also a majority of the patrol participated in Joshua Tree. The trip was very fun and the whole patrol had a lot of fun. In conclusion with only one month to go, the patrol is only a few requirements away from our goal of National Honor Patrol. As June approaches, we will do anything to achieve our goal. APRIL 2008 The month of April was a pretty mild month. Nothing much happened. The highlight of the month was Camporee. In which our patrol, the Tree Patrol, competed against other patrols in the local area in a medieval competition.
MARCH 2008 The month of March was a productive month for the Tree Patrol. This month included 1 patrol meeting and one very successful patrol service project.
FEBRUARY 2008 This Month the Tree Patrol had no patrol meetings or activities. Nothing major happened in the month of February. In February no rank advancements occurred either. On a good note in the month of February, one GREAT Patrol scribe article was written by the Patrol Scribe. But be prepared, in the month of March, expect GREAT things in the out of the Tree Patrol. JANUARY 2008 This month is January. That means we form new patrols in Troop 787. My patrol is the Tree Patrol. The leader of the Tree Patrol is Phillip M. Marc R. is the Assistant to the Patrol Leader. The rest of the patrol consists of Luke B., Hank R., Jake R., Chase S., and Glenn N. Some of the activities the Tree Patrol did in the month of January is we made our patrol flag, patrol yell, and had one patrol meeting on January 20th, 2008 located at Phillip M.’s house. We discussed at the meeting our goal, as a patrol, to achieve at least one National Honor Patrol Unit Award. In conclusion, the month of January was very successful as we formed into new patrols and met new people.
